Abstract
Komunikacija postoji od samog početka čovječanstva i ona je ono što čovjeka odvaja od ostatka živog svijeta. Komunikacija je bitna u svakom aspektu ljudskog života od privatnog pa i poslovnog. Komunikacija može biti pisana i usmena, verbalna i neverbalna. U poslovnom svijetu od presudne je važnosti način na koji čovjek komunicira jer svojom komunikacijom ne predstavlja samo sebe već i cijelu organizaciju u kojoj radi. Uloga medija, također je jedna od najbitnijih sredstava u komunikaciji. Ona je jednostavno raširena po cijelom svijetu i povezuje ljude i u poslovnom i u privatnom svijetu. Za uspješno poslovanje poduzeća potrebna je dobra komunikacija i dobri međuljudski odnosi, a mediji su ti koji promoviraju određene proizvode i usluge. U radu su razrađeni pojmovi komunikacije, poslovne komunikacije, vrste i oblike komunikacija. Uvod u masovnu komunikaciju, njezina sredstva i karakteristike. U radu se ističe važnost i značaj mediji u komunikaciji. Mediji su jedni od najvažnijih sredstava komunikacije u svijetu. Na kraju rada je prikazan primjer iz prakse, i koliko društveni mediji utječu na populaciju.

Communication exist from the very beginning of mankind and it is what a man separate from the rest of the living world. Communication is important in every aspects of human life, from private to his business life. Communication can be written and oral, verbal and nonverbal. In the business world it is very important how person communicates with rest of the people because with his communication is not only represent himself, but also the whole organizatio he works for. The role of media is also one of the most important means of communication. It is simply spread around the whole world and it is connecting people in every aspects of their lives. For a successful business, entreprise requires good communication and good human relations, and media is what promote specific products and services. The paper elaborated the concepts of communication, business communication, types and forms of communication. It also have intoduction to mass communications, her funds and properties. The paper also emphasizes the importance and signifance of media in communication. media are one of the most important means of communication in the world. At the end of the paper is the practice example and explanation of how is social media affecting the world population.
