Abstract
Najvažnija stvar u menadžmentu je vođenje drugih ljudi. Vođenje je uz planiranje, organiziranje i kontrolu jedna od menadžerskih funkciji, najizvornija menadžerska funkcija. Vođenje predstavlja pripremu drugih da rade ono što vođa doista i želi da oni naprave. Najvažnija sposobnost koju menadžer mora imati je da utječe na ljude, tj. motivira ih, kako bi oni svojim radom doprinijeli organizaciji i njezinim ciljevima. Uspješan i sposoban vođa koji se zna suočiti s izazovima će promjene učiniti što bezbolnijima. Ukoliko vođa nije dobar može doći do nezadovoljstva radnika, rasipanja resursa, pada konkurentnosti kompanije, i u konačnici bankrota.U menadžmentu je najvažnije planiranje i organiziranje, a ono što se želi postići vođenjem je slijeđenje, bit vođenja je slijeđenje, tj. volja da sljedbenici slijede i pridržavaju se onoga što je vođa tražio.Dana White primjer je uspješnog vođe.

The most important thing in management is leading people. Leading is with the planning, organization and control one of the managerial function. It’s most genuine managerial function. Leading presents way to prepare others to do what their leaders want. Motivates them, how they contributed to the organization and its objectives. A successful and capable leader is the one who knows how to face the challenges and changes as painless as possible. If the leader is not good it can affect the moral of employees, wastage of resources, loss of competitiveness of the company, and ultimately bankruptcy. In the management the most important is planning and organizing. In leading that is having followers. The main thing in leading is following. Dana White is an example of successful leaders.
