Abstract
Cilj ovoga rada je prikazati na koji način komunikacija utječe na medije. Komunikacija ima vrlo važnu ulogu u životu svakog pojedinca. Komunikacija se može klasificirati na više načina. Najčešće je to podjela prema ulozi pojedinih osjetila, odnosno prema vrsti jezika u procesu komunikacije. Dobra komunikacija predstavlja uspjeh u svim segmentima privatnih ili poslovnih odnosa. Komunikacija ima značajnu ulogu u stvaranju povoljnih ili nepovoljnih dojmova o pojedincu ili organizacijama. Razvojem tehnologije, mediji lakše i brže prenose vijesti diljem svijeta te na taj način omogućavaju lakši pristup željenim informacijama. Veoma je važno odabrati pravi medij putem kojega se planira komunikacija, jer svaki medij ima svoje prednosti i nedostatke. Putem medija dobivaju se razne informacije, oni nas, na neki način, educiraju, ali i zabavljaju. Masovni mediji su postali glavni odgajatelji ljudi, osobito djece i mladih. U današnje vrijeme mediji imaju veliki utjecaj na društvo. Oni utječu na formiranje vlastitog mišljenja te ga kreiraju u pozitivnom ili negativnom smislu. Uloga medija je postala toliko velika da je sve više ljudi ovisno o njima. Mediji imaju i veliku ulogu u razvoju interkulturalne komunikacije te u izgradnji interkulturalnog odgoja i obrazovanja. Na primjeru poduzeća „Podravka d.d.“ detaljnije su prikazani njihovi načini komuniciranja s javnošću putem medija.

The purpose of this project is to show the effects communication has on media. Communication has a very important role for every individual in everyday life. Communication can be classified in many ways. The most common way of categorization is by the roles of certain senses. Good communication can display success in every segment of private or business relations. Communication has a vital role in creating desirable or undesirable impression about an individual or organisation. A technological breakthroug has enabled media to spread news around the world in a much simpler and faster manner which makes the information more accessible. It's very important to choose the right media to communicate through, because each media has its own advantages and disadvantages. Media provide us with all sorts of information, for both the educational and entertaining purposes. Mass media has become the main educator of people, especially the younger generations. Today mass media have strong influence on our society. They affect the creation of individual thoughts and opinions in either a positive or negative way. The role of media has become so significant that more and more people depend on them. The media have a large role on the development of intercultural communcation and intercultural education. Based on the example of „Podravka d.d.”, the company’s communication with the public using the media is displayed in detail.
